Answers to Questions you didn't know you had (pt.1)

I wanted to create a reference for my clients to easily find answers to some of their questions and also answer questions you might not have thought of. With everyone I work with I always want to make sure we are a good fit and that means getting all the right questions answered upfront. I'm not a fan of surprises and I don't want to surprise you with anything you weren't expecting either.

Q

Can I bring friends and family to my session?

A

Yes, but I cap it at 2 people. I allow people there to make you feel more comfortable for a solo session and everyone deserves a hype team and someone to spot hair and makeup fails that need to be corrected between shots. However, any more than 2 can become a distraction and distractions cut into the valuable time we have together. If you do bring guests to your shoot i'll probably make them hold a reflector or take BTS photos for me... *shrug*, everyone serves a purpose around me.

Q

What happens if we get rained out?

A

We can reschedule for a date that works for both of us. Your retainer is still good and you do not need to pay anything else to book a new date. If rescheduling is not possible I will find somewhere nice and dry for us to shoot.

Q

Do I have to sign a contract?

A

Yes. The contract is crucial and beneficial to us both. The contract outlines all of my responsibilities, your payment requirements and all of the other what-ifs and details that may arise. The point of a contract is to protect us both.

Q

Can I opt-out of being on your website and social media? Is there a cost to that?

A

Yes, you can. I get it some moments can be deeply personal, and other things are for you only and that's totally okay. I respect the privacy of all of my clients. I do not typically alter the conditions of my contract but this is one section I will remove if you so wish. I value your willingness to work with me and trust my talent so I definitely respect your wishes as it relates to privacy.

Q

Do you do heavy editings such as body reshaping and scene alteration?

A

My editing includes light skin retouching to remove blemishes and smooth skin texture as well as light teeth whitening. I edit for color and white balance and make sure your gallery lighting is consistent. I do not encourage or provide body retouching. I promise to help you pose in the most flattering ways and give you images that are true to you that you will be proud to display and share.
