Thanksgiving 2019 was unlike any other. My husband is a firefighter and almost literally has no days off. That means Thanksgiving was spent at the station with the other first responders and their families.
We will be having our official Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow because I have a need to cook all my own food and eat leftovers for 3 days because that's what Thanksgiving is really about!
Thanksgiving at the station was fun and such an awesome way to meet the other firefighter's families who we almost never get to interact with.
And the kids? ... They loved it because as long as there is enough room to play then they are happy. It also didn't hurt that the temperature was in the 70s here so it felt amazing outside!
